JMC Building Developments Ltd. has been operating in the
Greater Toronto Area for the past eleven months undertaking sizeable and
challenging construction projects for a myriad of design/build
developers and corporate clients.
Whether erecting large
brick and steel structures from the ground up
or applying their
roster of the
finest sub trades in the business toward new corporate office improvements,
JMC Building Developments Ltd. is equipped to provide
the highest quality workmanship in a cost efficient manner. This dynamic
new
construction entity provides enormous flexibility with long term,
multi-faceted experience throughout many real estate asset classes such
as commercial, industrial, retail and hospitality.
As a former partner of
Jovien Associates Ltd.,
the construction arm of the Royal Group Technologies
Corporation –
a $3 billion Canadian based company located in Woodbridge, Ontario –
principal Joseph Cecchini along with John Zilli founded JMC Building
Developments Ltd. for the purpose of delivering the company’s
construction expertise to the open business market.
For more than 25 years, Jovien
Associates Ltd. served the Royal Plastics’ empire by facilitating its
growth on a global basis helping it to become the world’s largest
plastics extrusion company. During one particular expansion cycle, Mr.
Cecchini and his staff managed the construction of more than 14 million
square feet of retail plazas, manufacturing plants and distribution
centers that also included 3 million square feet of high-end corporate
offices, hotels, casinos and golf clubs. The current JMC executive
management team was instrumental in building many of these projects
around the globe in locations such as Mexico, Poland, Brazil, Argentina,
Colombia and China.
As a prime example of
the diversity of the JMC
team, the company recently completed a new five-star rated hotel complex
known as the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino in Frigate
Bay, St. Kitts, British West Indies.
This $500 million
construction project included 650-guest rooms, separate luxury villas,
eight meeting rooms, five restaurants, a 40,000 square foot casino and
an 18-hole PGA Championship golf course. These features combine to make
the St. Kitts Marriott Resort one of the most exquisite jewels of the
Caribbean.
